Funeral Director Arraigned On 31 Criminal Counts 6-15-2010

An Akron funeral home director charged with embezzling money from his clients will go before a jury after waiving his preliminary evidence hearing on Monday.
William F. Trenerry faces 31 criminal counts, including embezzlement.
Prosecutors said the 73-year-old stole more than $60,000 that should have gone into accounts for prepaid cremations and funerals.
The charges stem from incidents that occurred between July 1993 and May 2008.
Trenery is free from jail on a personal recognizance bond. He is expected to return to Circuit Court on Monday, June 21.
