Trio Accused Of Breaking Into Elementary School 6-21-2010

The Isabella County sheriff’s department arrested two men and a juvenile for allegedly breaking into Weidman Elementary School early Monday morning.
The community is situated on the boundary between Nottawa Township on the east and Sherman Township on the west.
According to news release issued by Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski, the trio was found hiding inside the school with stolen property on them.
Deputies doing routine building checks were tipped off when they noticed an open window on the backside of the elementary school.
Arrested were 22-year-old Geoffrey D. Vannerson, from Grand Ledge, 18-year-old Nicholas D. Hilderbrand, from Weidman, and a 16-year-old from Weidman.
Mioduszewski said the suspects also broke into the school the night before.
The two men were arraigned Monday afternoon on two counts of burglary-forced entry into a non-residence. The juvenile will be petitioned into Probate Court on the same charge.
