Bay City Commission To Vote On Budget Tonight 6-21-2010

Public safety cuts could hit Bay City if a last-minute agreement isn’t reached with city unions.
The city commission will vote Monday night on a new budget. It would trim more than $1.5 million from city payrolls.
The move could cost Bay City six police officers and five firefighters, according to the Bay City Times.
July 1 would be the earliest those layoffs could take effect.
