First Warn 5: Rain, High Winds Expected Tonight 6-21-2010

Through the overnight hours, Mid-Michigan is expecting some strong winds and heavy rain as a complex of thunderstorms crosses the state.
While the most severe weather will pass south of Michigan, we could get 60 mph wind gusts and some areas could get heavy rain as thunderstorms pass overhead.
The First Warn Five Futurecast times the arrival of the rain around midnight, and it will last through mid-morning Tuesday.
I’ll have the detailed forecast this evening on News 5 at 11.
If you have a weather alert radio, turn it on before going to bed tonight so that if we do get a watch or warning, the alert will sound and wake you.
You’ll can also to check our First Warn Five Pinpoint Doppler Radar here on WNEM.com.
