School Officials To Catch Ride With Blue Angels 6-30-2010

Two Michigan high school administrators are getting the chance of a lifetime to ride in the back seat of a Navy Blue Angel F/A-18E Hornet.
Lynn Jenkins, an assistant principal at Flint Southwestern Academy, Blaine Brummels, the East Kentwood High School Athletic Director and Dan Rohn, the athletic director at West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, will travel to Cherry Capitol Airport in Traverse City, Wednesday, where two of them will have the opportunity to participate in the training flight.
The three high school administrators have been recommended for this privilege by the commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District Michigan, Cmdr. Brian Bowles, for their support of the Navy recruiting mission in Michigan.
Their flight comes just days before the Blue Angels will perform at the National Cherry Festival Air Show, July 3 and 4.
