Man Sought In Home Invasion, Sexual Assault 7-13-2010

Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly invaded a Union Township home and “inappropriately” touched two individuals.
Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski said the man sneaked inside the Bertshire Lane home through an unlocked bedroom window just after 1:30 a.m.
While in the home, the unknown man inappropriately touched two people on top of their clothing who had been sleeping, Mioduszewski said.
Deputies believe he was scared off by one of the residents.
According to a police report, the men fled on a black mountain bike with sliver handlebars with black tape. The bike did not have a traditional seat, but a shock-style seat that connected directly to the bike’s frame.
Mioduszewski said a K-9 unit was brought to the scene, but was unable to locate the man.
He’s being described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, 18-20 years of age with shaggy brown hair. He was wearing a bright green shirt, dark shorts and high top tennis shoes that appeared to be white in color, Mioduszewski said.
The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Saginaw-Chippewa Tribal Police and Mt. Pleasant Police.
