More than a thousand Delphi retirees still uncertain about the future of their pensions will have a chance to learn more Monday during a meeting.
The Delphi Salaried Retirees Association will hold a session to help inform present salaried employees and retirees who are affected by the pension plan termination.
Delphi filed for bankruptcy protection in October 2005. Delphi terminated the pension plans in 2009, forcing the pension insurer owned by the federal government to assume responsibility of $6.7 billion in pension liability for 70,000 Delphi retirees.
In all, retirees may lose up to 70 percent of their pension.
The meeting is site for 5:30 p.m. at Horizon Conference Center, 6200 State.
