Police: Vandals Strike Freeland School Bus Fleet 7-19-2010

School’s out for summer but that didn’t stop vandals from striking one school district’s means of transportation.
Tittabawassee Township police told WNEM TV5 someone slashed the tires of several buses at the Freeland bus garage over the weekend. The vandals also cut break lines and smashed out windows, according to police.
In all, six buses, two tractors, a van and a pick-up truck were damaged.
Police said the crime occurred sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

School officials estimated the damage to be around $20,000.
