Teenagers Confess To Freeland Bus Vandalism 7-21-2010

Two Freeland High School students came forward and admitted to causing nearly $20,000 in damage to several vehicles at the Freeland bus garage over the past weekend.
Tittabawassee Township police chief Dennis Green said the teens turned themselves on Tuesday. The duo was accompanied by their parents.
Green told WNEM TV5 the teens were having a sleepover and over a two-day period committed the crimes because they “were bored.”
Police said the vandals slashed tires, broke windows, cut various electronic wires and destroyed engine parts. In all, six buses, two tractors, a van and a pick-up truck were damaged.
The investigation will be turned over to the Saginaw County Prosecutors Office.
School officials said the district may also levy some type of discipline against the teens.
