St. Charles Man Sentenced In Fatal House Crash 7-22-2010

The man who police said drove his car into a Swan Creek Township home and killed an 80-year-old man inside has learned his fate.
Daniel Carson, of St. Charles, was sentenced by a Saginaw judge to 7 to 15 years for the incident last September.
Carson had previously pleaded no contest to manslaughter with a motor vehicle and felonious driving.
Stanley Wisniewski was killed in the crash. His wife, Geneva Wisniewski, said the two were at the dining room table when the car came crashing through the front of the house.
Relatives of the victim said they don’t think that's enough.
“It's our system, so we have to accept it,” said Mike Sekelsky, Wisniewski’s son-in-law. “Hopefully that it works out to where he serves the most time possible out of that sentence.”
Toxicology reports show Carson had pain killers in his system at the time of the crash.
