Teens Sentenced In Girl's Fatal Bicycle Shooting 7-26-2010

The teens convicted in the death of 13-year-old Don’Nesha Williams learned their fate in court Monday.
Don'Nesha Williams died Aug. 20 while out riding her bike at Carpenter and College Street in Mount Morris Township. She attended Holmes Middle School.
Police said Coriell Branch, Reonta Hunter and Tarrius Barksdale fired off 17 shots at two men heading into a convenience store, but struck the girl instead. The intended targets were not injured.
Branch was sentenced to 33 to 50 years in prison, Hunter was sentenced to 39 to 60 years in prison and Barksdale will spend at least 15 years in behind bars.
A fourth teen was also charged in connection with the shooting. Ammeleo Wilson pleaded guilty to a weapons charge in juvenile court.
