Amphitheater May Be Built In DominickÂ?s Memory 7-26-2010

Efforts are under way to raise money to build an amphitheater in honor of a 4-year-old boy who police said was beaten to death.
Authorities said Dominick Calhoun was repeatedly beaten by his mother’s boyfriend after he wet his pants at their apartment in Argentine Township in April.
Dominick’s mother, Corrine Baker, and her boyfriend, Brandon Hayes, are both charged in connection to the boy’s death.
Community members held a car wash in Linden over the weekend to raise money for CASA, a domestic violence shelter, and toward the building of an amphitheater in Dominick's memory.
Volunteers said they plan to hold another car wash next weekend near the State Bank in Linden.
