Boy With Saginaw Ties Shot 22 Times In Chicago 8-11-2010

A teenager with ties to Saginaw who was gunned down in Chicago was likely a victim of mistaken identity.
Robert Freeman, 13, was shot as many as 22 times Wednesday night by attackers, just six houses away from his West Pullman home.
His grandmother currently lives in Saginaw.
Witnesses said Freeman and some friends were hanging out by a vehicle when a gunman repeatedly pumped bullets into the boy.
Police sources said the Freeman may have been mistakenly targeted.
Reports said Freeman would ask his mother to let him visit his grandmother in Saginaw so he could go fishing.
Police are investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.
