Tips Held Lead Police To Suspected Serial Killer 8-12-2010

The Flint State Police Task Force said a suspected serial killer was tracked down by tips from the public.
That man, whom authorities have not named, was stopped while trying to board a Delta Air Lines flight to Tel Aviv, Israel, said Rafael Lemaitre, a spokesman at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Police said an anonymous tip was phoned into the tip line on Wednesday that ultimately helped track down the man at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Task Force investigators have been flown down to Atlanta to continue their investigative efforts with Atlanta authorities.
Police said a vehicle, which closely matched the suspect’s vehicle description, has also been seized. It’s currently being processed by State Police Crime Lab technicians.
Police also executed search warrants at two residences in the Flint-area in conjunction with the investigation.
