Bone Marrow Drive Held For Cancer-Stricken Girl 8-16-2010

A Genesee County family is asking for the public’s help as their 1-year-old daughter battles a rare type of leukemia.
A bone marrow donor registry drive was held for Madison Lasley on Saturday at the Bethany Baptist Church in Burton.
Madison was diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia about a month ago.
JMML is a rare form of blood cancer with only 25 to 50 new cases diagnosed in the United States annually. It's only known cure is a bone marrow transplant.
WNEM TV5's Amy Andrews attended the registry drive as hundreds of people showed up to support Madison.
