Possible Bone Marrow Donor Found For Girl, 1 8-19-2010

A family looking for a bone marrow donor to help save their little girl may be in luck. A possible match has been located.
Madison Lasley was diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia just before her first birthday.
JMML is a rare form of blood cancer with only 25 to 50 new cases diagnosed in the United States annually. Its only known cure is a bone marrow transplant.
The family will now wait to find out if her brother will be a match when he is born at the end of September.
If not, the possible match will be the next option.
Doctors said Madison needs to have the transplant in October.
