Habitat House Used For Firefighter Training 8-19-2010

Another habitat for humanity home is going to a good cause, but this time, it's not for a family.
Habitat for Humanity has donated the house at 906 Bradfield in Bay City to the fire department.
"Today's training is to make sure that we look for the stuff that's not obvious to us," said Robert Phillips, with the Bay City Fire Department. "That [way], when we go into these unfamiliar surroundings, we can find people that have become trapped or disoriented."
Firefighters will use the home for team training with the Bangor and Monitor township fire departments.
The home will then be demolished to make way for a new Habitat-built home.
