Son Receives Dad's WWII Medals 65 Years Later 8-23-2010

A special ceremony was held Monday afternoon for a Saginaw County family.
U.S. Rep. Dave Camp presented Michael Howe and his family with three medals earned by his deceased father, Robert A. Howe.
Robert Howe served in the U.S. Army during World War II, from March 1942 to October 1945, and earned the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
Robert's grandson, Douglas, now serves as a member of the U.S. Air Force.
The ceremony was held at the St. Charles Village Office.
