Teacher In Pupil-Sex Case Step Closer To Trial 8-23-2010

A former teacher accused of sex with a minor was arraigned in Saginaw circuit court on Monday morning and a pretrial conference has been set for Wednesday.
Monday's hearing is the latest in the case against Marcie Rousseau that spans two counties, where several teens have testified that Rousseau, a former English teacher at Freeland High School, had sexual relations a male teen.
Court documents obtained and reviewed by TV5 reveal the nature of the alleged relationships between 33-year-old Rousseau, who is a married mother of two, and other alleged affairs.
The court documents also stated that sexual rendezvous between the teacher and the students occurred between her home, their parents' homes, at area hotels and in her two vehicles.
One student claims in the court papers that he and Rousseau met for sex 100 times between May 2009 and February 2010.
TV5 learned the entire story came to light when the parents of one of the male students told authorities they came home to find the teacher's car parked in their garage.
