Caseville Man, 22, Killed In Semi-Car Collision 8-25-2010

A crash involving a car and tractor-trailer in Huron County Tuesday afternoon left one man dead and another hospitalized.
Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson said the collision occurred at the intersection of Moore Road and Richardson Road in Oliver Township.
According to Hanson, a Pontiac Sunfire was driving northbound when the driver ran a stop sign and struck a tractor-trailer that was traveling westbound.
One of the vehicle's occupants, 22-year-old Curtis Ostrander, of Caseville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant, 22-year-old Samuel Rogers, also of Caseville, was transported to the Huron Medical Center and later air-lifted to a hospital in Saginaw for treatment of is injuries.
Kelley said the vehicle was registered to Rogers, but was unsure who the driver was because both men were ejected at impact.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, 24-year-old Joshua Elenbaum, of Owendale, was not injured in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
