Deadline Looms To Extradite Stabbing Suspect 8-25-2010

Just three days remain for authorities to meet the deadline to have the suspected serial stabber brought back to Michigan.
Prosecutor David Leyton has until Saturday to extradite Elias Abuelazam back to Genesee County.
But it will cost the county between $2,000 and $10,000 for the extradition.
The price tag comes at a time when the county is facing an $18 million budget deficit.
Abuelazam is a suspect in 14 stabbings, but so far charged with only a single count of assault with intent to murder.
