S.C. Johnson To Invest $1M In Bay Co. Plant 8-26-2010

A more than $1 million investment means a local manufacturing facility is ready for the future, and is keeping jobs right here in Mid-Michigan.
S.C. Johnson is using the money to update their Bay County Facility, and they're getting a little help from Bangor Township to do it.
The facility is Bay County's ninth largest employer.
The company famous for various products, including Ziploc bags, is investing the money to make the plant more efficient.
The investment will help retain 160 jobs at the plant, so this week Bangor Township officials passed a resolution for a 12-year, 50 percent tax abatement.
