EB I-69 Reopened Following Tractor-Trailer Crash 8-26-2010

The Shiawassee County's Sheriff's Office has cleaned up and investigated a single-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 69 after a tractor-trailer crashed through a barrier and plunged into the Looking Glass River on Thursday.
Deputies said the driver, a 43-year-old man from Arkansas, was not injured after losing control of the rig.
The impact separated the tractor from the trailer, and crews are working to clean up the mangled pieces.
The trailer came to rest in the river and spilled its contents of engine blocks.
Authorities said no other vehicles were involved, and no one was injured.
