5 People Hospitalized After Sunday's M-52 Crash 8-30-2010

Five people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle car crash on M-52 Sunday afternoon.
Saginaw County Sheriff's deputies said it happened just before 1:30 p.m. north of the M-52 and Swan Creek Road intersection in western Saginaw County.
Craig R. Tippett, 30, of St. Charles, was attempting to turn a 1991 GMC Safari left from southbound M-52 when he collided with a northbound vehicle, deputies said.
All four passengers inside Tippett's van were injured. The driver of the other vehicle was also injured.
Officials said none of the injuries appeared life-threatening.
Alcohol may have played a factor in the crash, according to deputies.
M-52 was closed for more than two hours.
