FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich.A Flint Township board is meeting right now to give the OK to spend more money on a rail trail plan.
Nearly $1 million has been set aside for the project already as long as the township can secure $44,000 of its own money for engineering studies.
So far the township has been accepting donations.
One end of the trail would begin near Ballenger Highway and Corunna Road and the other would be near the police station at Norko and Fleckenstein drives.
