2 Arrested In Connection To Soccer Complex Fire 9-03-2010

Police said they arrested and charged two people Friday in connection to a pavilion fire at the Saginaw Township Soccer Complex, 3577 McCarty in Saginaw Township.
Joseph Konsdorf, 19, of Saginaw Township, was charged with arson and malicious destruction for intentionally setting the fire in the early hours of Aug. 23. He was arraigned Friday afternoon.
If convicted, Konsdorf could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
A 16-year-old teen from Saginaw, was also charged with malicious destruction of property, police said.
He will go through the juvenile court system.
Fire investigators said the pair caused about $80,000 worth of damage to the soccer complex and field.
No injuries were reported in fire.
