Police: Man Stabbed Outside Prime Event Center 9-06-2010

Bay City police responded to a 911 call describing a fight and stabbing over the weekend. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to Bay Regional Medical Center to speak with a person claiming to have been stabbed.
While officers interviewed the victim and witnesses, they learned the fight began outside of the Prime Event Center after the Labor Day Bash that was held there.
During the altercation, a 22-year-old Saginaw man was stabbed once in the back. After he was stabbed, he was transported to BRMC by friends.
Witnesses told officers they were familiar with the suspect and that he is an 18-year-old Saginaw man.
The victim, who authorities declined to identify, is listed in stable condition, and his injuries are not life threatening.
This case is still under investigation. Anyone having any information about this incident is encouraged to call the Bay City Police Department.
As of Monday afternoon, it was not known if the 18-year-old Saginaw man had been found by police.
