Cone Zones: Mid-Michigan Road Work Update 9-16-2010

The season of construction continues throughout Mid-Michigan with some major roadways reopening to traffic in November.
The bridge ramp from M-58 (Davenport Ave.) to southbound I-675, which closed on Monday, Sept. 13, will remain closed through Monday, Sept 20, to facilitate painting work across the Henry Marsh Bridge.
Crews also are building concrete railings on northbound lanes across the bridge. By mid-October, MDOT expects to have one lane open across this bridge. Completion of the overall I-675 project is expected by mid-November.
One lane remains open to I-675 northbound traffic from the south junction with I-75 north to Exit 2 (Fifth/Sixth Avenues).
The detour route for I-675 northbound traffic remains I-75 to I-675 southbound, from which motorists can access local destinations.
I-675 northbound remains closed from Exit 2 (Fifth/Sixth Avenues) north to Exit 6 (Tittabawassee Road).
I-675 is open from Tittabawassee Road north to the north junction with I-675.
Work on Tittabawassee Road over I-675, which began in late July, is still underway. At least one lane will remain open in each direction for the duration of this work. This work is expected to be completed by Oct. 2010.
The round the clock closure of Weiss Street under I-675 ended Wednesday. Weiss Street will remain closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning Wednesday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 17, with traffic detoured.
