TV5 Weather Alert: Wind Advisory In Effect Friday 9-24-2010

A wind advisory remains in effect until 9 p.m. Friday for much of the WNEM TV5 viewing area.
Southwest to west winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph are expected to develop by late morning through mid-evening.
Small tree limbs may be blown down. Unsecured light weight objects will be blown around.
Motorists driving high profile vehicles may also experience difficulty driving.
A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or gusts of 45 mph are expected.
Today: Showers likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a temperature rising to near 82 by noon, then falling to around 68 during the remainder of the day. Windy, with a west southwest wind between 28 and 32 mph, with gusts as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Breezy, with a west northwest wind between 23 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 18 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. North northwest wind around 8 mph.
