Ex-Lions Star Charles Rogers Faces Foreclosure 9-24-2010

Former Detroit Lions receiver and Saginaw native Charles Rogers owes $1.17 million on his suburban Detroit mansion and faces foreclosure.
A notice published Friday in the Detroit Legal News says Rogers defaulted on a $1.04 million mortgage he obtained in October 2004.
He faces foreclosure Oct. 26.
Rogers bought the Novi home in the exclusive Turnberry Estates subdivision for $1.3 million. The 5,100-square-foot, four-bedroom home was built in 2001.
The Detroit News reports the foreclosure is the latest financial problem facing Rogers, a former Michigan State University star.
In April, he was ordered to repay the Lions $6.1 million of a $9.1 million signing bonus because of his 2005 suspension for substance abuse.
Rogers was the second pick in the 2003 NFL.
