Full story will posted below. FLINT, Mich. -- Gov. Jennifer Granholm stopped in Midland and Flint on Wednesday. The governor started her day at Dow Chemical's corporate headquarters to celebrate construction of a new Business Process Service Center. Dow and Tata Consultancy Services said facility is expected to house up to 1,250 employees once completed. It will provide services including supply chain scheduling and planning, invoice and data management and accounts receivable and payable. Granholm also visited a newly opened Family Resource Center inside Flint’s McKinley Foundation Academy made possible by a grant from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation. McKinley’s Family Resource Center is staffed by two caseworkers from the Genesee County DHS office. The center provides all DHS services as well as direct support services and referrals for other community resources. It's the fifth of its kind in the district.
