TV5 Investigates: Oil Pipelines Under Your Home? 10-28-2010

An entire California neighborhood leveled after a natural gas line in San Bruno exploded earlier this year.
Closer to home, where a pipeline break spilled more than 800,000 gallons of oil into the Kalamazoo River. The spill from an Enbridge Inc. pipeline happened in July near Marshall.
Much of the cleanup has been finished, but the EPA says some operation and maintenance will continue.

If you think these disasters can’t happened in your own background -- think again.
In fact, hundreds of miles of oil and natural gas pipelines run through Mid-Michigan. And most of the people TV5 talked with had no idea.
