Ex-Principal Faces Drunken Driving, Drug Charges 11-04-2010

A recently retired school principal is now facing drunken driving and drug possession charges.
Police said Maria Hope was arrested in July after running a stop sign and slamming into another vehicle.
Not only did police say she was drunk, but they allege she was also in possession of marijuana.
Two people were seriously hurt in the crash.
At the time, Hope was the principal at Washington Elementary in Flint.
The school district said she retired last month.
Hope is expected back in court later this week.
