Woman Dies In Isabella Co. Industrial Accident 11-09-2010

Authorities said a 52-year-old Michigan woman has died after being struck by a forklift while working at a recycling center in Isabella County.
Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski said on Monday afternoon, a Caterpillar forklift driven by Clarence Rose, 52, of Alma, was in the process of moving a recycling bin when it hit 52-year-old Sharon Welling, of St. Louis.
Welling was airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital to treat injuries to her leg and pelvis area.
The sheriff's department told the Morning Sun of Mount Pleasant and The Saginaw News that Welling died Tuesday morning.
The accident at the recycling center near Mount Pleasant remains under investigation.
