Man Arrested On Sex Charges After Fleeing State 11-10-2010

This past June, officers from the Mt. Pleasant State Post investigated a criminal sexual conduct complaint involving a minor victim and an adult suspect.
Authorities said the incident occurred on South Bradley Street in Union Township.
Following an investigation where the victim and her mother were interviewed, an arrest warrant was issued for 24-year-old Timothy Paul Lancaster on first-and second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges.
Police said Lancaster is the victim’s stepfather.
Troopers said Lancaster fled the state but was recently picked up in South Carolina.
Police said Lancaster is back in Isabella County and being held on a $100,000 bond.
