Man Arraigned In Wal-Mart Towel Burning Incident 11-22-2010

A man has been arraigned on a single charge of arson after police say he started a fire at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Tawas City on Saturday night.
Police said an employee reported seeing a fire just after 6:45 p.m. in the general merchandise area of the store.
Police said Ryan Eminger, 31, of Oscoda, was arraigned on Monday on a single charge of arson in relation to the fire.
Surveillance cameras helped identify Eminger, who police said lit the pile of holiday towels on fire.
Officials evacuated the building while fire crews cleared the scene.
The building did not suffer any structural damage, but there was smoke and water damage.
The Wal-Mart was closed for nearly 24 hours while cleanup crews worked to restore the store's merchandise.
Eminger is being held at the Iosco County Jail on a $250,000 bond. If convicted on the single arson charge, Eminger could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
