4 Students Remain Suspended For Hunting Guns 11-23-2010

BYRON, Mich. -- Four students who had hunting weapons on school property in Byron will remain suspended for the rest of the semester.
On Monday, the Byron Board of Education voted unanimously to uphold the suspension.
The students left the weapons in their vehicles last week because they had planned to go hunting straight after school -- a day after firearm deer season began.
School officials said the students accepted full responsibility for their actions, and that they can go before the board for reinstatement hearing next month.
The suspension also includes 10 hours of community service.
