Mobile Home Blown Off Trailer, Onto I-75 Shoulder 11-23-2010

Strong winds have blown a double wide mobile home off a semi-truck flatbed trailer and onto the northbound shoulder of Interstate 75, near the Linwood rest stop.
Michigan State Trooper Patrick Pennoni said the 28,000-pound structure blew onto the road between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The home partially blocked a rest area lane exit. No injuries were reported.
The 48-foot home was being transported to East Jordan from Bay City, but the driver was attempting to exit because of high winds estimated upward of 30 miles per hour.
Outside on Tuesday, it's not just the winds that have everyone talking; it’s also the massive drop in temperatures.
After Monday's warm temps, with highs reaching into the low 60s in Mid-Michigan, a cold front has pushed into the region and prompted a 30-degree swing.
Meteorologist Catherine Bodak says the Great Lakes Bay Region has already reached its highs for the day, and between the current wind chill and tonight's dropping mercury, the overnight temps will be in the mid-20s.
