School Board Considers Less-Frequent Elections 11-26-2010

The Board of Education of Saginaw Township Community Schools will hold a public hearing on the issue of whether to decrease the frequency of the district’s regular election, when voters choose board members.
The board will host a public hearing on the topic Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Arrowwood Elementary School Conference Center, 5410 Seidel.
The Board of Education is considering moving its regular election date from an annual May election date to an odd-numbered year election date in May.
If the board votes to changed to the schedule, residents would vote every two years instead of annually.
