Teen Mom Takes Plea Deal In Newborn's Death 11-30-2010

The Williams Township woman accused of murdering her newborn was back in court Tuesday.
Nicole Kipfmiller, 19, pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter and removing and carrying away a dead body.
Investigators said Kipfmiller threw her baby in a Dumpster outside a convenience store in December 2009.
Kipfmiller had been charged with second-degree murder in the case.
The doctor who performed the baby's autopsy took the stand during a March hearing and said the infant was born alive and was breathing.
Kipfmiller has previously stated that the baby didn't cry or move when it was born.
The lawyer for the teen had asked a judge in July to toss out a second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges, citing insufficient evidence. The judge declined.
The teen will be sentenced on Jan. 24 by Judge Joe Sheeran and will most likely face between eight and 15 years in prison.
