Icy Patch Blamed For Rollover Crash On I-75 12-02-2010

The Michigan Department of Transportation has been called to put down salt on a stretch of Interstate 75 after an accident was blamed on an icy patch.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. Thursday when the motorist was driving on an overpass just south of the Birch Run exit.
TV5 cameraman Bud Jones was at the scene and said a man in a pickup truck pulling a trailer flipped over after hitting ice near a bridge on southbound I-75 near the 133 mile marker.
Jones said the truck towing the trailer was a total loss but that the man was not injured in the crash.
The highway was narrowed to one lane while crews worked to clear the accident.
