Former Dow Corning CEO Ludington Dies At 82 12-07-2010

John S. Ludington, former Dow Corning Corp. chairman and CEO, died Monday at the age of 82.
Reports say Ludington was battling a lengthy illness.
He joined Dow Corning in 1951 and become chief executive officer in 1975. A year later he assumed duties as chairman of the board.
Ludington served on a number of other boards, including Saginaw Valley State College, Albion College, the Charles J. Strosacker Foundation and the American Industrial Health Council.
