Saginaw police called it one of the biggest drug busts in the city's history and now new information has surfaced in the case.
Officers told TV5 that they seized another 30 pounds of marijuana.
Detectives said they found it in the trunk of a car registered to Daniel Marin. The vehicle, a 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass, was found on the east side of Saginaw.
Marin and another man, Benjamin Alcala, were arrested in connection with the drug ring.
The police department's original bust last week netted 500 pounds of marijuana.
Saginaw Police Chief Gerald H. Cliff says about $500,000 worth of marijuana was confiscated, along with cocaine, a firearm, $14,000 dollars and two vehicles that were used to traffic narcotics.
Both men remain jailed in Saginaw.
