Flint Man, 38, Killed In Sunday Triple Shooting 12-13-2010

Officers in Flint confirmed the city has reached its 61st homicide of the year, tying an all-time high reached in 1986.
The latest shooting occurred late Sunday night at a home in the 600 block of West Ridgeway Avenue near Dupont, on the city’s north side.
Police said the shooting left 38-year-old Timothy Charles Baker dead, a 19-year-old paralyzed and third person hospitalized.
Flint Mayor Dayne Walling called the excessive homicide rate "tragic" for the city.
"We have reached a tragic milestone in Flint, tying the homicide record established in 1986," said Walling. "I applaud the swift work of our hard working police officers in apprehending a suspect within hours of the city's latest homicide," he said.
Walling also held a news conference Monday morning urging residents to continue to be vigilant about reporting crimes in the city.
On Monday, police said they have a three men in custody in connection to the latest shooting, saying the incident may have been drug-related.
