Saginaw Valley State President Gets Pay Raise 12-20-2010

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich.Saginaw Valley State University's board has given 3-percent pay raises to the school's president and two members of his executive staff.
The Saginaw News reported that Eric Gilbertson's annual salary now stands at $223,664 following the board's action this week.
Executive Vice President James Muladore now makes $170,525. Provost Donald Bachand's new salary is $180,876.
Board of Control Chairman K.P. Karunakaran applauds Gilbertson's performance, pointing out that enrollment has increased and a $28 million health and human services building opened on the school's campus in the Saginaw area during his tenure.
Saginaw Valley faculty will receive 3.25-percent pay raises as part of a 2008 contract agreement.
