A Saginaw man has been charged in connection to the 6th homicide in the city for 2010.
Juan Guajardo Jr. pleaded not guilty in the shooting death of 46-year-old Kevin Powell.
Powell was found dead Friday inside a home at 429 S. Fourth St. near Cherry.
The home is the same address where Saginaw police Detective Al Fong was shot during an Oct. 30 drug raid.
Fong was wearing a protective vest at the time of the shooting and was not seriously injured.
Police said Powell and Guajardo knew each other, but aren't releasing a motive.
