Driver Hurt In M-46 Crash In Saginaw County 12-22-2010

Rescue crews responded to a crash at the intersection of M-46 (Holland Road) and Mueller Road early Wednesday morning.
The intersection is in Saginaw County’s Blumfield Township, east of Saginaw.
The Saginaw County Sheriff's Department said it happened around 6 a.m.
Saginaw's Jesse Thomas Soelberg, 27, the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Classic, crossed the center line and lost control of his vehicle due to slippery road conditions.
Soelberg's car struck an oncoming vehicle head-on.
The vehicle that was struck, a 1998 Ford Aerostar, was being driven by Rhonda Joy Underwood, 39, of Vassar. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the speeds of the cars were relatively low due to road conditions.
Police and fire crews were at the scene for about an hour.
The Saginaw County Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
The overnight snow in Mid-Michigan led to several accidents and slide-offs.
