Granholm To Review New Child Gun Safety Law 12-22-2010

Gov. Jennifer Granholm will look over a new gun safety bill aimed at educating elementary students.
According to the Flint Journal, the law requires the state's education department to create a gun safety program for elementary schools.
It's designed to teach children what they should do if they see a gun, rather than how to use one.
The class would be taught once per year and the bill’s sponsor, state Sen. John Gleason, D-Flushing, told the Journal that it would only take about 10 minutes to teach the lesson.
The program’s main lesson: Don’t touch, notify an adult.
