Police Search For Bronner's Christmas Vandals 12-25-2010

Mid-Michigan police are trying to catch the Grinch who vandalized Bronner's Christmas Wonderland on Christmas Day.


Frankenmuth Police Chief Donald Mawer said that more than one person was likely in involved in the incident that happened between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday at the store located about 75 miles north-northwest of Detroit.
He said several decorations throughout the property were displaced and "heavily damaged."
Wayne Bronner, of Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, said it is the worst destruction in the company's 65 year history.
Santa’s reindeer were knocked over, pieces of their Christmas decorations were destroyed and the nativity scene was vandalized.
“We’re going to try to do some repairs it will take a long time. Some of these figures have been here 20 years,” said Bronner.
Police collected evidence and a K-9 unit determined the suspects fled in a car parked in the store's parking lot.
An undisclosed reward is being offered. Damage was estimated at about $40,000.
