4 Males Ages 17-21 Held In BronnerÂ?s Vandalism 12-28-2010

The Frankenmuth Police Department has made several arrests in connection to the vandalism which occurred at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland on Christmas morning.
The incident was initially reported to Frankenmuth police by a Bronner’s family member Saturday at about 8 a.m.

Frankenmuth police say the vandals pummeled a life-sized Santa and his reindeer, split a nutcracker in half and smashed and dismembered several other holiday displays. Damage is estimated at $30,000 to $40,000 at the store, which draws visitors nationwide with its collections of Christmas-themed crafts.
After the incident was reported to the media, tips started flowing into the Frankenmuth Police Department, according to a news release.
Over the weekend FPD investigators received a tip that led investigators to Genesee Township, located 30 miles south of Frankenmuth in Genesee County.
Investigators worked with the Genesee Township authorities in an attempt to locate a person of interest which had been named in the tip.
Frankenmuth police were notified early Tuesday morning the person of interest had been located. A Frankenmuth detective was sent to Genesee Township where interviews were conducted and additional evidence collected.
After three days of investigation, police arrested four people in connection with the vandalism. One person is still outstanding but arrangements have been made for him to turn himself in, according to police.
The suspects have been identified as being all males from the Genesee Township area ranging in age from 17 to 21. They are being held at the Saginaw County Jail.
Police said they still don't know the supects' motive, but confirmed the group had been planning the attack since Thanksgiving.
